Bluebird Gap Farm Fall Festival Returns with Family Fun
Two-day celebration Oct. 18–19 features hayrides, live music, games, animals and more in Hampton

The colors of autumn will be on full display when Hampton’s annual Bluebird Gap Farm Fall Festival returns Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18–19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free, two-day tradition brings together seasonal activities, entertainment, and the charm of the farm for families across the region.
Festivalgoers can enjoy hayrides, a hay maze, and hands-on demonstrations such as blacksmithing and ax throwing. Children will find plenty to do with games, face painting, and photo opportunities, while live entertainment provides a soundtrack to the day. Seasonal favorites—including treats and food vendors—will be available for purchase, along with pumpkins from the festival’s pumpkin patch.
The setting itself is a big part of the draw. Bluebird Gap Farm, a 60-acre city park, is home to more than 100 domestic and wild animals, including horses, cows, pigs, goats, alpacas, birds of prey, and peacocks. Families can explore the grounds, visit the antique display barn, or take in the views along the Azalea Trail and duck pond. Picnic areas and playgrounds add to the farm’s year-round appeal.
Organizers remind visitors that Bluebird Gap Farm will close on Friday, Oct. 17, to prepare for the event. Pets are not permitted inside festival grounds.
The festival is free and open to the public. For more information, call (757) 727-6348 or visit 60 Pine Chapel Road, Hampton, VA.
